A lot will change with the next Apple Watch. The Apple Watch Series 10 will be bigger, thinner and even resemble the Ultra.
‘Apple Watch Series 10 will be bigger, thinner and looks like Ultra’
Usually reliable Apple expert Ming-Chi Kuo thinks that the next Apple Watch will get a major makeover. According to him, the Apple Watch Series 10 will be a lot thinner and the new version of Apple’s smartwatch will have a larger screen.
Kuo thinks that the current screen sizes (from 41mm and 45mm) will change to 45mm and 49mm. For comparison, the Apple Watch Ultra (2) has a case size of 49mm.
This is a lot larger and that means that the smaller version of the Apple Watch Series 10 will be the same size as the largest Apple Watch Series 9. And the new large version will then be the same size as the Apple Watch Ultra. The Ultra will be a bit thicker and wider, partly thanks to the thick edge that protects the Digital Crown on the side.
Kuo does not think that the Apple Watch Ultra will become much larger. He thinks that the new Ultra will remain about the same size as the Ultra 2. Perhaps Apple will come with a new color, a dark titanium version.
Mark Gurman also expects that the new Apple Watch will be a lot thinner. According to him, however, it does not stop there and Apple plans to also make the iPhone and the MacBook Pro a lot slimmer. He thinks this will become Apple’s new trend after the introduction of the thin iPad Pro 2024.
