Apple Watch: Show apps as a list

A typical feature of the Apple Watch is the honeycomb view for apps. This grid has been present since the launch of the Apple Watch, but you can also change this view to a list. Useful if you find the grid confusing or unclear.

The apps are then arranged in alphabetical order in the list. You can then scroll through the list using the Digital Crown or your finger. This way you can find the application you want more quickly and you can get started right away.

Activate list view for apps on an Apple Watch

  • Navigate to the overview of the apps
  • Swipe all the way down
  • Tap the list icon
  • The list view is immediately activated

This way you can also tap the grid symbol at the bottom of the list to reactivate the grid.
