Apple Watch Ultra: Activate Siren in an Emergency

The Apple Watch Ultra is extremely suitable for use during extreme and challenging sports. Mountain climbing and hiking in the wild are also part of this. The ultra also has a siren that you can activate in case of emergency.

The alarm produces a sound of no less than 86 decibels that can be heard up to 180 meters away. This is intended to attract help in an emergency. This way, your expedition members can hopefully help you in time.

Apple Watch Ultra: Activate Siren in an Emergency

Are you in trouble and want to sound the alarm? You can do so using the built-in siren in the Apple Watch ultra.

Activate siren

By holding down the action button, an 86 decibel alarm will sound after a few moments, which can be heard up to 180 meters away. This is intended to attract help in an emergency.

On the screen you will see an animation of the siren playing and the current battery level will also be displayed. Let the siren do its job in the hope that you will be found quickly.

You can stop the alarm using the stop button (the red square). If you are not helped, you can also activate SOS emergency notification. If you are connected to a telephone network, you can use this function to call the emergency services and ask for help.
