Are the green ripe berries on elder bushes edible?

I’ve never heard of an elderberry bush where the ripe berries are green. It would of course be interesting to see a picture of it. In any case, different types often look very similar. With the slightest doubt, it is therefore strongly not recommended to eat the berries.
