Everything must have a cause, including nature. We don’t know the cause of everything yet, but physics must be the case. Einstein once said ‘God does not play dice’, indicating that everything that is there should also be evident. All atoms, photons, Boson-Higgs particle, …. have a necessary origin from the big bang. The creation of space is necessary for this.
You can of course say that the laws of nature must also have a cause, but those laws are dictated by some constants in the universe. We do not know whether these constants are also present in another universe. So scientifically there is never an effect without a cause, but the cause is sometimes impossible to find out.
