We’re just hours away from the iPhone 13 release. New leaked images appear to show all colors of the official Apple silicone and leather case for the iPhone 13.
Apple cases for iPhone 13 appear more colorful than iPhone 12 cases
The iPhone 13 is around the corner, but at the last minute something is leaking out. Lekker Majin Bu posted some photos of alleged iPhone 13 cases on Twitter. They are Apple’s official silicone and leather cases, which are released every year for the latest iPhone model.
If we are to believe the images, Apple will soon be selling eight color options for the silicone case. Compared to the current iPhone 12 silicone cases, the colors are slightly brighter and more vibrant. Perhaps the bright colors of the cases say something about the colors of the iPhone 13.
As usual, the leather covers are a bit more businesslike. The five available colors are less noticeable and have a more ‘classic’ style compared to the silicone cases. The leather covers also have aluminum buttons. The silicone cases don’t have that.
All new case model for iPhone 13 series
Another image on Weibo in China shows a cover design that we haven’t seen from Apple before. The picture shows a silicone case with a translucent top. Users can thus create different color combinations. However, we take the image with a grain of salt, as there is no MagSafe ring in the case.
Two-tone cases are not new to Apple. With the arrival of the iPhone 5C in 2013, Apple released a silicone case with holes on the market. These holes were used to create color combinations, because the iPhone 5C was only available in bright colors.
We will know for sure on Tuesday 14 September. Then Apple announces the long-awaited iPhone 13 series. We also expect to see the Apple Watch Series 7 and new AirPods. You can watch the event at 19:00 Dutch time via Apple’s website follow live.
