At the request of my Argentine psychiatrist, I filled out a questionnaire. My current doctor asks me for the name of that study. Can you help me: the test is scientifically validated and internat

Does anyone know the name of the psychological test with the following characteristics: scientifically validated, internationally recognized, consisting of 240 statements with which one must (completely) agree or (completely) disagree. The results in my case were quite “confusing”, and my doctor will only interpret if he knows the name of that test. This test, so to speak, exposes your personality.

Asker: Dries, 60 years old

Answer

If the questionnaire contains information about the following characteristics–neuroticism, extraversion, openness to new experiences, altruism, and conscientiousness–and these characteristics are divided into 6 facets, then it will be the NEO-PI-R.

Questionnaires, like other psychodiagnostic instruments, are administered, scored, and interpreted by psychologists (sometimes in collaboration with other experts such as a psychology assistant or psychiatrist). In this case it would be up to your psychiatrist to provide your current doctor with a report.
