In 2024, the second season of the hit series ‘Billy the Kid’ will premiere on Viaplay. British actor Tom Blyth reprises the lead role of the legendary gunfighter of the Wild West. There is also a role for the Dutch actor Matthijs van de Sande Bakhuyzen (De Daltons, Afblijven, Kenau).
The second season consists of eight episodes that will be shown on Viaplay in 2024. Like the first season, the second season is written and produced by acclaimed producer Michael Hirst (Vikings, The Tudors, Elizabeth). The epic and romantic adventure series, inspired by the life of the most notorious gunfighter in the US, Billy the Kid, continues in the second season. Billy (Tom Blyth) and his allies take on his oldest friend Jesse Evans (Daniel Webber) and the infamous Santa Fe Ring. A battle that escalates into the bloody Lincoln County War.
