Can creationists fail a geology exam if they claim the earth is 6,000 to 10,000 years old?

Many creationists are truly 100% convinced that the earth was created. Scientific research shows that this is by no means the case. Young and old earth creationists even put a very narrow date on it: e.g. between 6000 and 10,000 years (for young earth creationists).

If a creationist student at a college or university stands by this thought during the geology exam, will he fail the above question or not? Does the assessment of the lecturer depend on the university/university of applied sciences (eg KU Leuven compared to UGent)?
