It may happen that you want or need to adjust the screen resolution of Windows, but that option is not available. What exactly can you do about that? We will walk you through some solutions.
One of the first things you can do is check for updates to the display drivers. Open the Start menu and type Device Manager (or press the Windows key + X to open the quick menu, where you can also Device Manager selects).
Tap the drivers for the screen twice to see additional options. Now right-click on the correct drivers (of the display you are using) and select the option with which you search for updates.
You can now check for updates in two ways: automatically or via Windows Update. Especially if you’re not lucky after trying one of them, try them both. You can also reinstall the drivers in this menu, which can also help.

Reinstall drivers

You can also check if a general update for Windows is available if the problem persists. If not, reverting to an earlier version of Windows may help.
