  1. Open System Preferences with the button in the top left or dock item and click on ‘Users & Groups’. You will see various things appear below. Tap on ‘Change password’;
  2. Your Mac now gives you several options. One of these is the ability to use your iCloud password for your Mac. However, we recommend creating a completely new password. So choose ‘Change password’;

  4. Finally, click on ‘Change password’ again to complete the process. After this, the change is immediately put into effect.
