With Apple Pay it is possible to make purchases using your iPhone, iPad and even Mac and pay with Apple’s payment service. You can easily check and recognize which stores, apps and web shops support Apple Pay.
On Apple’s website you will find a number of highlighted physical stores that accept Pay, but this is only a small selection. In principle, you can pay anywhere with your iPhone or Apple Watch as long as the retailer supports contactless payment. But there is more, it is also possible to use Apple Pay in apps and on websites.
Recognize if a store supports Apple Pay
Pay works the same as a debit card, contactless. Retailers therefore do not have to adapt their payment terminals to Apple’s service and can immediately support Apple Pay. This means that you are in virtually all You can pay for stores that support contactless payments with your iPhone or Apple Watch.
At some stores you will encounter a Pay sticker at the cash register, window or door, but this is actually negligible. Naturally, this means that the retailer supports the service 100%, but the sticker is not necessary. You should pay attention to the contactless payment logo, which can usually be found on the payment terminal, ATM or at the cash register. Check if Pay is available through Maps
It is possible to check whether a store supports Apple Pay via Apple’s standard Maps application. In recent years, additional stores on the map have been provided with this logo.

Apps and web shops with Apple Pay support

At checkout, in addition to iDeal, credit card and other payment options, you can also choose Apple Pay. Follow the steps on the screen and you can immediately choose your linked payment card to pay.
