If you work a lot with texts or are a developer, you often perform multiple copy and paste actions per day. The disadvantage of the standard MacOS clamping board is that only a single active copying action is stored. Unique search options
The search function of Copymagic Understands natural language and recognizes the context of searches, so that you will find specific notes, left or images from the past much faster. It therefore gives results based on intention or underlying meaning, similar to how modern search engines work. It is not only searched for literal similarities, but also for content and intention.
For example, you can search for “Safari links from yesterday” or “Code of yesterday” after which relevant fragments appear, even if the words do not literally occur in the copied item. It is also possible to search for the name of the app with which you have performed a copy campaign.
This is what Cofymagic distinguishes from many other clipboard managers, who only search with simple keywords. In the preferences of the app you can indicate whether you want to use semantic search or search based on keywords.
Clear user interface
Cofymagic is active in the background. You get access to the app via the MacOS menu bar. By clicking on it, the most recent copy assignments appear. By clicking on a result, the selection is placed on the clipboard and you can do it with CMD+V slices.
From the menu bar you can also immediately search in the stored copy assignments and open the app itself. In the main window of the app you have a handy column on the left that gives you quick access to different types of copy assignments. This allows you to quickly view and select all text fragments, images, files, code, e-mails and more. You can also use favorites, recent assignments and shortcuts for today or this week.
The representation of the stored assignments looks nice and well -arranged. You immediately see what the type of assignments is, and for example a code feature is also displayed as such.
If you want to adjust the colors of the user interface, then that is also possible. There are five different themes available that you can use.
If you have certain copy assignments that you often use, you can use the favorite function. With your mouse or trackpad, click on an assignment to mark it as a favorite. The assignments marked as favorite can be accessed directly from the left column.
At the top left the search field in the main view there is a context menu available that offers some extra options. With this you can remove double assignments from history or delete the entire history.
COYMAGIC SETTINGS
Via the app settings it is possible to have a shortcut for Copymagic to activate. By using this key combination, you immediately open the overview with stored copy assignments. This works slightly more convenient than clicking in the macOS menubalk.
The institutions also offer the possibility to delete the history of deletions if it becomes too large. The app can be started automatically when you log in to your Mac, and the app symbol in the macOS dock can be hidden.
No cloud solution, privacy guaranteed
All copying assignments that Cofymagic records are stored locally on your Mac. This keeps all your data on your Mac and no sensitive data, such as copied passwords and the like, will be sent to the cloud. The semantic search in the assignments is also carried out locally.
