This motor is in various electrical kitchen appliances. Isn’t it best to avoid electromagnetic radiation, especially with frequent household use and therefore also with foodstuffs?

Answer
Hi Jenny,
There is no real cause for concern for this.
The frequency of these fields is too low to interact with cells in meat or vegetables. In order to interact, the wavelength of the radiation must be of a similar order of magnitude to the object. For the mains voltage that we use here (50Hz), the wavelength of the electromagnetic fields of motors is around 6000km.
Kind regards,
Luc.
