At first I had the feeling that maybe I am not from both my parents. Then I thought to look at the different noses, I have a small hooked nose, parents both a narrow, rather long triangle. I want to research it first before I ask my parents. My grandparents on my mother’s side don’t have a nose like mine at all. Now all I have to do is find pictures of my father’s parents to compare. Is there any other way to rule out whether my parents are my parents?

Answer
The nose itself is not a good measure of whether your legal parents are also your biological parents. If they are still alive, a DNA test or a tissue typing could be done on yourself and your parents. Just think of the story of Delphine Boël. (Note: this question can seem very hurtful to them). Do they no longer live and do you have brothers or sisters you can ask them.
