Dropbox Paper now also works offline and in Dutch

Word processors with cloud functions are increasingly used, but you do need an internet connection. With Dropbox Paper’s offline mode, you can now also work on your documents offline.

Dropbox Paper offline mode

Dropbox Paper has been given an offline mode in the latest version of the app. So you will soon be able to work on your documents without internet. Once you reconnect, the changes you’ve made will be automatically uploaded to your Dropbox account. At the time of writing, the offline mode only works in the Dropbox Paper iOS app. The desktop version still needs to be online to work.

Dropbox Paper now also works offline and in Dutch

Paper did not officially support the Dutch language yet, but that will change with this update. The app now speaks twenty additional languages, including Dutch. The desktop version of Paper can also be used entirely in Dutch.

Working offline with cloud services is nothing new anymore. Google Docs has been offering an offline mode for quite some time, while you can also use Apple’s own iWork suite without an internet connection. These apps – much like Dropbox Paper – upload your changes as soon as you reconnect to the internet.
