Due to its small dimensions of 21.5 x 21.5 x 29.5 cm (lxwxh), the heater can be placed over and does not have to be directly on the ground. Make sure that you place the heater at least 50 cm from the wall or other objects. The heater is not suitable for damp rooms and cannot be used in a bathroom.
The Duux Threesixty 2 is an electric heater with three heating settings from 800 to a maximum of 1800 watts. The built-in thermostat ensures that the heater switches off automatically when the temperature set via the app has been reached.
In the special Boost mode, the heater can quickly heat up a room of up to 30 m². During our test, our attic with an area of ​​20 m² and 1 skylight was heated from 15 to 20 degrees in 35 minutes. In this mode, the heater produces a maximum of 46 dB of noise, and it is mainly the built-in fan that you hear. This noise level is acceptable and is certainly not annoying. In the other settings the fan is almost inaudible.
A ceramic heating element (also called PTC) is used for heating. The built-in fan ensures that heat is distributed evenly over 360 degrees via the air outlet, and you can choose from two ventilation settings.
You can adjust the heating settings on the device itself and switch the heater off and on. In most cases, however, you will do this via the Duux app. You can also adjust the desired temperature there.
Operate from the Duux app
You can operate the Duux Threesixty 2 heater using the Duux app. Adding the device to the app is very simple and only takes a minute. Once added in the Duux app, the Threesixty 2 will appear in the overview and you can operate the heater with your iPhone (or Android device).
In the Duux app you can select one of the three heating settings (1 to 3) and set the desired temperature. If you want to heat up a room quickly, you can use setting three, this is a so-called boost setting. The Duux app, like the stove itself, has a beautiful design and a simple user interface without all the bells and whistles.
The app also allows you to use time-based schedules. Select the desired day/time, determine the heating mode and maximum temperature. At the set time, the heater will start heating the room until the end time is reached.
Via the Insights tab you can view the temperature development of the room in which the heater is placed.
Safety features
An electric heater is of course a device that you must handle with care. For example, a child or pet could get caught on the power cord and pull over the device. The Duux Threesixty 2 is equipped with a number of safety features that ensure that you can use the heater safely. These safety features include:
