Dyson has opened its first Demo Store in Amsterdam. In this shop Dyson shows its products in the field of beauty, cleaning and air purification, there is a Beauty Lab and you can also buy products.
The Dyson Demo Store on Koningsplein 12-14 in Amsterdam has been open since October 26. The new Dyson Demo Store covers an area of ​​more than 125 m2 and is open daily from 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM, with the exception of Sundays, then between 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM. All beauty, cleaning and air purification products are on display and there is a Beauty Lab with Dyson stylists offering advice and a personalized styling service.
Demonstrations
The Dyson Demo Store features Dyson’s full portfolio of technology, enabling consumers to discover, explore and better understand how Dyson technology works. The Dyson Demo Store focuses on the technology in Dyson’s machines, with demonstration zones and interactive displays showing the designs at work. From the effectiveness of Dyson vacuum cleaners to air quality demonstrations showing live air quality data, visitors to the Beauty Labs can have their hair styled with the latest Dyson technology.
Dyson Direct Exclusive Offers
When consumers buy directly from Dyson, they get access to exclusive technologies and limited edition colors. Store-bought products have a 30-day trial period and can be delivered the next day. From 2023, shoppers can have it delivered the same day. In the personalization bar, customers can also personalize their storage box for the Dyson Supersonic hair dryer, Dyson Airwrap multi-styler and Dyson Corrale straightener for free, as well as have their product packaged via the gift wrapping service. Consumers can also shop by appointment and get personalized advice from Dyson experts and stylists.
Healthy Hair Styling – Dyson Beauty Lab
The new Dyson Demo Store has a dedicated area on the first floor for in-house hair care, equipped with three styling stations. There, customers can meet a Dyson Stylist who provides advice and a personalized styling service using Dyson’s hair care technology, based on hair type and styling needs. The Dyson Demo Store should be a new way people shop for the latest technology, according to Dyson. The very first Dyson Demo Store in Europe opened in 2000 in Paris on Rue de la Boétie. Dyson Demo VR and MyDyson App
The launch of Dyson Demo VR enables customers to try, test and understand Dyson’s products in a virtual online environment. Dyson has also introduced 1:1 video demonstrations and phone calls with the experts in-store, live technology events on Dyson’s websites and virtual tours of some stores. In addition, the new MyDyson app has been launched, delivering practical content and new news to Dyson owners, tailored to the products they own and their personal needs (ie hair types).
Dyson’s portfolio of key technologies
Dyson V12 Detect: a new generation of cordless vacuum cleaners with a finely tuned laser beam that reveals invisible dust, while an acoustic piezo sensor measures and records the dust and dirt picked up and displays the data on a screen in real time. Dyson Corral Hair Straightener: The only straightener that uses flexible plates that form to collect hair. This extra control allows styling with less heat and damage. It includes an intelligent sensor system to control and adjust the temperature of the plates 100 times per second, providing constant power and heat for better styling.
Dyson Zone Air Purifying HeadphonesPowered by the smallest compressors in any Dyson machine, the Dyson Zone air-purifying headphones draw air through the electrostatic filters in each ear cup to trap 99% of particles as small as 0.1 microns, and potassium-enriched carbon filters that capture city fumes to deliver cleaner air to the wearer’s nose and mouth through a non-contact visor.
