It has been a while, but in 2011 the game SpellTower came out for iOS. It’s a fantastic puzzle game that is all about word formation. A tower is built of letters on the screen and it is up to the player to make correct words with those letters. These words then disappear from the screen. This is necessary, because the blocks may not touch the top, just like in Tetris.
Because you have to make words and these words should preferably be as long as possible, you will have to have a good command of the language to get far. Have you skipped SpellTower all this time because you are not very good at English? Then this is a nice day, because SpellTower Dutch is now available for download in the App Store. So you can just form Dutch words.
This separate version of the app also immediately has all the new functions of the renewed SpellTower 4.0. In particular some new modes. The new Zen mode works like the standard Puzzle mode, but without having to make long words. There is also a multiplayer mode. In the trailer above you get an idea of ​​the additions. It is great that such an old game gets a new life through an update like this.
