The latest version of Flitsmeister not only warns on A and N roads for speed cameras and controls, but also on smaller (provincial) roads.
No more voucher for speeding
With the update Flitsmeister is rolling out today, the app has been given the option to warn about speed cameras from motorway to built-up areas. Previously, information about hectometre markers as well as the GPS location was required for the transmission of speed camera locations, but now smaller roads are also included where those poles are not present. That let the makers of the popular file and flash app know iPhoned.nl.

In addition to this much-requested adjustment, the Flitsmeister dashboard has been slightly overhauled. For example, the option to route to work, home or another location has been simplified to a search function at the bottom right of the screen. Your current location and the number of users driving in front of you are also shown less prominently. This leaves more room for more relevant reports and functions that will follow later this year. Finally, the Flitsmeister update allows users to zoom in on the map and set it to always have north up.
“The changes to the dashboard may seem minor, but they are of great value for the future. With subtle changes we have created space for extra services and information pieces that the user can use during the year, ”Jorn adds.

The new version of Flitsmeister is available from today in the App Store. The app requires iOS 8 or higher and at least 106MB of free storage space. In addition, keep in mind that the flash app needs a working GPS and data connection to function optimally.
