In Hyperburner you crawl into the cockpit of a spaceship that has to guide you through all kinds of obstacle courses. You do breakthrough feats for this, but you do that for good reason: in this way you unlock increasingly better ships and new game modes.
Especially the design makes the game worth playing. The bright neon colors splash off your iPhone and iPad, and the futuristic soundtrack is a perfect match for the fast speed at which you speed through the space colonies.

You need at least iOS 8.0 or higher to play this game, although Hyperburner is optimized for the iPhone 6 and higher. If you have an older device, the animations may be a little less smooth than intended.
Every week, Apple puts a new app in the limelight as Free App of the Week, this app also gets a featured position in the App Store. Normally this game costs € 2.99. Sometimes these are educational apps, sometimes productive and the occasional game. The app can be downloaded for free until next Thursday, although you still have to pay for the in-app purchases.
