When available?
The September update for the Pixel phones is being rolled out in phases. As a result, you may not have received the update yet. No one in our editorial team has received the update at the moment. However, you will receive a notification once the update is available for your Pixel phone. You can also manually check whether you have already received the update. You do this in this way: go to settings -> Software update -> Download and install.
Please note, the September update is only available for the Google Pixel 4 and newer models. This means that the Pixel 4, Pixel 4XL, Pixel 4a, Pixel 5, Pixel 5a, Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 6a will receive the update. The Google Pixel 3a is therefore no longer supported. With this, this device, the company’s first ‘Pixel a budget topper’, is no longer supported for the first time. This phone is still getting an update, but that’s a July update that has been delayed.
