You can now compare ticket prices for museums and attractions in Google’s search results. You view the prices of various providers in Google, and then you arrive at the website where you can buy the tickets.

Ticket prices in Google

The tourism industry is quietly crawling out of a trough as pre-pandemic life is slowly returning. Google wants to give museums and companies in the tourism sector a boost. You will now be able to buy tickets to attractions and museums directly from the search results.

You can find such ticket prices in Google Maps for some time, but a lot of people also look for it from their search engine. In addition to reviews and practical information about a place, you will soon see a ‘Tickets’ tab next to the results, where you can easily compare prices. It works faster than if you have to visit each website of such ticket providers one by one.

According to Google the providers are included in the overview of the search results free of charge. The feature will be rolled out more widely in the coming months, and here at the editors we don’t find ticket prices in our search engine yet. We do expect that the function will also come to the Netherlands and Belgium, since we can already buy tickets here from Maps.
