Those who switch from an iPhone to an Android smartphone will soon be able to import their photos and videos from iCloud directly into Google Photos. Google is working on such a feature for an iOS app called “Switch to Android.” The app is currently still under development.

Transfer via Lightning
It has also been leaked that Switch to Android will soon be able to transfer data from iOS to Android in two ways. It was already known that that data transfer can work via WiFi, but now there is also a mention of using a Lightning cable. You may then have to plug the Lightning cable into your iPhone and then plug a USB-a cable into the USB-C port of your Android phone via an adapter on the other side.
