  • Put your finger on the text you want to translate
  • Select the full text
  • In the pop-up menu, tap ‘Translate’

Do you not see the translation button yet? Then tap the Meer button (triangle) to see multiple menu options.

Translate text with Google Translate

A mini version of the Google Translate app is then opened and you can translate the selected text using this service.

Siri and Safari retain translation app from Apple

Siri can also translate spoken texts for you, but the speech assistant continues to use Apple’s translation function and you cannot adjust them. Safari also has a built-in translation function to translate the entire website, here too Apple’s Translation app is used and you cannot change it.
