If we are to believe the rumors, the iPhone 14 Pro will no longer have a notch, but two holes in the screen. A leaked schematic drawing shows these rather large holes.
Holes in iPhone 14 Pro screen almost as big as notch
Multiple sources confirm that the notch on the iPhone 14 Pro is disappearing. Screen holes will replace this. However, these seem to be a lot bigger than we previously thought. This is apparent from an alleged schematic drawing, which was recently published on the Chinese Weibo popped up. well-known tasty Jon Prosser shared the image.
The schematic drawing shows the iPhone 14 Pro from the front, with the screen holes aligned. In the image below, the ‘old’ leaked design is superimposed on the drawing. The holes in the screen of the iPhone 14 Pro are – as you can see – a lot bigger than we thought based on the previous rumors.
If the schematic drawing is real, the screen holes take up almost as much space as the iPhone 13 Pro’s notch. Of course it’s a big difference visually, but many Android competitors have smaller screen holes. The size of the iPhone 14 Pro holes is probably due to Apple’s Face ID sensors, which need a lot of space.
