Energy costs are skyrocketing and with every bit of electricity or gas you can save, your wallet wins. The Dutch company HomeWizard claims that its smart energy meter and socket provide more insight into consumption, allowing you to save on electricity and gas.
HomeWizard Energy
In 2020, HomeWizard launched its HomeWizard Energy family. The purpose of the app and the products in this family is to keep an eye on your consumption and save where possible. That happens thanks to the HomeWizard Energy Wi-Fi meters. These meters accurately register your total use, feed-in, grid use, gas, solar panels, charging station, heat pump, washing machine, dryer, refrigerator and more.
HomeWizard has released two cheap smart home products with the Wi-Fi P1 Meter and Energy Socket that do just that. We also wrote about it recently, but now it’s time for the in-depth review of both products. Editor Sebastian plugged the P1 meter into the P1 port of his digital energy meter. With the Energy Socket, he has monitored the consumption of his dishwasher and his Nest Hub, among other things. Are you curious what he thinks of these energy meters from HomeWizard? And whether he was able to save electricity and gas? Read the review about the P1 Meter and Energy Socket review on AW Smart†
