How do I get the lump of sugar granular again (or should I just throw it away)?

I don’t want to throw away the pack (lump) of sugar, but make it into granules again. How is that possible or not?

Maybe not a very scientific answer but very easy to do: tap it with a big hammer.

I use it for crumbling gingerbread cookies. I would put the sugar in a plastic bag, cover it with a towel and use a meat hammer for example.

You can also try drying in an oven (max 100 °C).

Success with it!

Kind regards
