Asker: Henry, 11 years old
Answer
The most accurate estimate of Earth’s age is in the region of 4.54 billion years, with a possible uncertainty of a few tens of millions of years. It is also not possible to say in which year the earth was formed. The formation of the earth also took many millions of years, that did not happen overnight.
But about 4.54 billion years with an uncertainty of a few tens of millions of years corresponds to 55 000 000 000 months, (plus or minus a few hundred million months)
and that’s 1 700 000 000 000 000 000 seconds!
