How many times does your heart beat in your whole life?
Suppose you live until you are 80.
Answer
Hi Janne,
you can calculate approximately how often your heart beats in a human life (and you will be surprised by the result!!)
Your heart beats about 70 times per minute
– per hour (60 minutes) so 60 x 70 times
– per day (24 hours) 24 x 60 x 70 times
– per year (365 days) 365 x 24 x 60 x 70 times
– in a lifetime (80 years hopefully) 80 x 365 x 24 x 60 x 70 = 2 943 360 000
or so almost 3 billion times (3 thousand million times !!!)
You better take good care of it: do a lot of sports, don’t start smoking, eat healthy with lots of fruit and vegetables and so on
