Check how much space you have left on the computer running Windows. It’s easy to find out.
Free storage space
It is advisable to keep an eye on how much space is left on the computer. Because it is inconvenient if you suddenly appear to have too little storage space while using your computer. Then suddenly there is no more room for that beautiful photo or that handy document that you want to store. Or you can’t download a program. View the available storage space in File Explorer.
- On the Taskbar, click the File Explorer icon
. If the icon is not here, click the Start button, type ‘explorer’ and click Explorer. - In the Navigation pane on the left, click This PC.
- Under ‘Devices and drives’ you can see how much space is still available per disk. Below the disc is a bar, which is partly blue. That blue part shows how full the disk is already.
