Is it high time for a party? With the integration between Philips Hue and Spotify, you are in any case well on your way to that perfect party. The music and the smart lamps can synchronize with each other, whereby the light adapts to the beat of the music.
In combination with Spotify, the Philips Hue algorithm is able to perfectly match every song and the light. The genre and the mood are not lost here. The lights behave with a ballad so very different from hardstyle. The ideal combination for the perfect party!
Dancing to the beat
Initially, you needed an external app to link the Philips Hue smart lighting to music. Fortunately, it has been possible for a while now to link Philips Hue and Spotify together. You can do that via the Hue app.
Then you can make adjustments from head to toe. You can adjust the intensity, brightness and color palette to your liking. Moreover, you can decide for yourself which speakers you use to play music. You can even use your headphones. Do I hear someone there silent disco say?

Philips Hue and Spotify: this is how you set it up
Open the Hue app (make sure you are using the latest version of the Hue app) and open it synctab. Here you can create a link with your Spotify account. Then you can Entertainment Area create. That is of course the place in the house where your party takes place.
Then play a song or playlist through the Spotify app. Now all you have to do is press the sync icon in the synctab. The smart Philips Hue lights in the house then immediately start dancing. Now you!
