Using several chatbots at the same time within an intuitive unified interface is what the ChatHub extension offers, which will quickly prove essential for regular users of ChatGPT, Bing Chat, Google Bard, Claude AI and others.

Conversational agents, chatbots and virtual assistants are all the rage. It must be said that they can substantially increase your productivity and are a valuable aid for certain projects and research. But the language models on which they are based as well as the functionalities implemented therein differ, so that these platforms do not offer the same levels of performance. For a specific request, one may be more relevant than the other, while the trend is reversed for another request.

This is why it is useful to compare the results on several services at the same time in order to obtain the best possible answer, the one that best suits our needs. But having multiple tabs open and copying and pasting the same prompt into each interface, then checking all the results against each other is daunting work. Fortunately, there is a browser extension offering to group the most popular chatbots of the moment within a single UI.

How to use ChatGPT, Bing Chat, Google Bard and Claude AI on the same screen?

This is called ChatHub and supports ChatGPT, Bing Chat, Google Bard, Claude AI, iFlytek Spark, ChatGLM, Alpaca and Vicuna in its free version. Here is how to use it.

1. Install ChatHub

The ChatHub extension is currently only available on the Chrome Web Store. You can download and install it on any browser based on the Chromium rendering engine: Chrome, Edge, Opera, Brave, Vivaldi… However, it is not supported on Firefox and Safari.

So go to the Chrome Web Store by clicking on this link: ChatHub – All-in-one chatbot client. Then click on the blue “Add to Chrome” button. The download and installation then start directly without further manipulation.

2. Open ChatHub

When you install ChatHub, its interface automatically opens in a new tab without your intervention. To launch ChatHub during other uses, simply go to your browser’s extensions area and click on ChatHub. By default, you arrive on the All-In-One function of the extension.

3. Use ChatHub to operate two chatbots at the same time

In the All-In-One section, you can choose the two chatbots you want to use using the drop-down menu located at the top left of each window.

You can then write your prompt in the field positioned at the bottom of the screen, and it will be sent to the two chatbots you have selected in order to conduct two conversations in parallel and compare the results. It is also possible to only write to one of the two AIs by typing a message in its specific interface, which can be useful to give a precise instruction and to obtain a new answer from a single chatbot.

4. What to do if a chatbot does not work?

Some chatbots integrated into ChatHub can work without your intervention, such as ChatGPT or Bing Chat. For others, you may receive error messages. This happened to us in particular with Claude AI and Google Bard.

  • For Claude AI, ChatHub requires a connection to your Poe account, a platform developed by Quora that also includes several chatbots. To do this, click on the message “Login at poe.com”, then log in or create your account if you do not already have one. Creating a Poe account only requires an email address, phone number, Google account or Apple account.
  • In the case of Bard, you may see the message “Failed to access Bard”. The reason is that Google’s chatbot is not officially available in Europe. To remedy this, you can use a VPN to locate yourself in a country Bard is accessible from. We tell you more in our tutorial on how to access Google Bard from France.

5. Does ChatHub pay?

The main features of ChatHub are free, and most users will be happy with that. If you are going to use this tool often, you can turn to purchasing a “lifetime” premium license for the price of 19 US dollars. This grants the possibility of adding more chatbots in the All-In-One mode, a search function in the history of conversations, further customization of the theme, quick access from the side panel of Google Chrome, availability on five different devices, and more options to come.

6. How to configure ChatHub?

For an experience more suited to your needs, we advise you to take a look at the ChatHub settings. There you can export and import your settings data, chat histories and prompts, choose your start page (All-In-One by default), select the ChatGPT language model you want (GPT-4, GPT -3.5…), with or without support for API and Azure modes, adopt a default response style for Bing Chat between precise, balanced and creative, or opt for the version used of Claude AI between Claude-Instant (without limitation), Claude+ (limited) and Claude-Instant 100K (reserved for Poe subscribers).

ChatHub is a powerful and very practical tool for users who need to use several chatbots at the same time. The free version allows you to compare two chatbots side by side, but you can pay a license (one-time purchase) to unlock an All-In-One mode allowing the use of more of them. Don’t forget that it is important to edit and personalize the results obtained so that your contents stand out.
