If in a sphere, the inside of which consists entirely of perfect mirrors, I ignite a light; will that light stay on forever?

I was wondering if you can generate an eternal light through a flash of light.

Suppose you let a light flash in a sphere (cube, …) of which the inside consists of mirrors (and after which nothing else remains in the form (lamp or the like) e.g. combustion of magnesium), that light then becomes infinite mirrored a number of times, so that an infinite light continues to exist?
