You probably know it. Some app updates take an awfully long time, even though you never actually use the program. iOS 13 makes removing unused apps a lot easier. That is how it works.
iOS 13 makes removing apps easier
With just a few months to go before the final release of iOS 13, we are learning more and more about the major update. In addition to the long-awaited dark mode, iOS 13 is also packed with smaller, more subtle improvements. An example of this is the way Apple is going to save storage space.

The App Store of iOS 13 and iPadOS 13 indicates when apps were last used, with the most recent programs at the top. At the bottom of the list are apps that you rarely or never use. With a simple swipe to the left you can completely remove these programs. With the first swipe, the ‘Delete’ button appears, after which you pull the swipe all the way to the left to permanently delete the app.
This is useful in two ways. First, it takes less time to update all apps. When you have a slow internet connection, it sometimes takes quite a long time to update all programs. You also save storage, because apparently you never use the program. Apps are getting bigger and bigger and for people with little capacity this is a godsend.
