Good news! Your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Mac, Apple TV, and HomePod will be as good as new as new, as iOS 18, iPadOS 18, watchOS 11, macOS Sequoia, tvOS 18, and HomePodOS 18 are now available to download. Last week, Apple released a firmware update for AirPods.
iOS 18 has several innovations such as a brand new control panel, personalize home screen, new Photos app, extensions for calculator, passwords application and much more. Update not required
It is not mandatory to install the iOS 18 update. Apple has also released iOS 17.7 for iPhone. Would you rather wait a little longer? That is no problem.
Download iOS 18 or iPadOS 18 on iPhone or iPad
The update is easy to download and install from the device itself. You can do this via Settings ▸ General ▸ Software Update. Is there an older version available? For example iOS 17.7? Then you have to tap on ‘Update to iOS 18’ at the bottom.

When there no update is found, this is a sign that the is very busy on Apple’s download servers and you will have to wait a while patience must have. You can also download and install the update manually via a Mac or PC.
Installing macOS Sequoia
With macOS 15, Apple adds several new features to the Mac including full-screen tiles, extensions for Calculator, Passwords app, and iPhone mirroring.

Install watchOS 11
watchOS 11 brings a Vitals app to the Apple Watch, Training Load in Workout, new watch faces, and more.
You can install the watchOS software update as soon as you You have installed iOS 18 or iOS 17.7 via the Apple Watch app on your iPhone ▸ My Watch ▸ General ▸ Software Update.
Install tvOS 18
tvOS 18 has received inSight, improved dialogues and new screensavers. The update is available for the Apple TV 4K and HD and can be installed via Settings ▸ System ▸ Software Updates ▸ Update Software. Then select ‘Download and Install’.
Download Safari 18
Users of macOS Sonoma and Ventura can also download Safari 18. This can be done via ▸ System Settings/Preferences ▸ Software Updates. Safari 18 is part of Sequoia, but can also be used on macOS Ventura or later.
HomePodOS 18
HomePodOS 18 currently contains few innovations. The update is available for the HomePod 2nd generation and the HomePod mini. How to update your HomePod can be read here.
Installing visionOS 2
If you own an Apple Vision Pro, you can now also install visionOS 2 with new gestures and productivity functions. Apple’s spatial computer can be updated via Settings ▸ General ▸ Software Update.
