I’ve been told that grass is a weed. Is that true?

Answer
Hi Sina,
Plants are classified as weeds if they grow in a certain place such as in a garden or field where they are not wanted. A person who does not want grass in his garden will regard that grass as weeds. However, there are also people who plant grass as a lawn or border plant and this is not a weed for them.
