We want to make jewelry ourselves, the basic materials have to be galvanized. My question is how can I color the same piece of galvanized metal in e.g. green, blue, red, purple, yellow etc. etc.

Answer
Hi Mickeal
You can ‘play’ with the colors by using different metals.
If you search for electroplating and color you will find the information you are looking for.
Another option is sometimes by varying the voltage and current during the process.
One of our students once tried that with titanium.
You can find this information via the link.
Other options can be found at companies, see the links as an example.
Hopefully you can continue with this.
Kind regards
