iTranslate Converse translates conversations for you in real time

With your iPhone in your pocket, you no longer have to worry about meeting someone whose language you don’t speak. iTranslate Converse translates a conversation for you live, in almost forty different languages.

This is how iTranslate Converse works

iTranslate Converse helps you have a conversation in a language you don’t speak. The app automatically recognizes which language is being spoken and translates what is being said in real time. iTranslate speaks about 40 different languages, including Chinese and Russian.

To use the app, you have to turn your iPhone upside down. As a result, the microphone picks up better what you say, and the speech coming from your iPhone speaker becomes more audible. Then keep your finger on the screen while speaking and iTranslate will speak the translation for you. If you download the corresponding language packs, you can also use the app without an internet connection.

In addition to translating conversations, iTranslate Converse also keeps transcripts of what you translate. You can share this from the app as a document to other apps. So you can later read what was discussed again. The app also organizes them based on the languages and at what times the conversations were held. For now iTranslate Converse can only be used on the iPhone. An Android version will also be released in the fall.
