Translate and listen

Like all Chrome extensions, get Rememberry on the Chrome Web Store† Once installed you will find the newcomer in the toolbar. If you don’t see it right away, click on the puzzle piece icon and there’s the Rememberry button.

You use the translation tool by simply selecting a word or a piece of text. The Rememberry icon will immediately appear at the bottom of the selection. Click on that and you will automatically receive the translation of the selection.

There is also a speaker to listen to the pronunciation. In most cases, the extension itself recognizes the foreign language. If he should make a mistake, you can set a different source and target language via the cogwheel.

You get the translation and you can create memory cards.

Memory cards

In the settings under the gear it is possible to put together so-called decks. A deck is a stack of memory cards that help you imprint words in the foreign language. You create such a card by clicking on the diskette icon in the pop-up. That way you can train your vocabulary in different ways afterwards.

Four learning methods

Click on the extension icon in the toolbar, select a deck and there you can choose from four learning methods. Or you follow the usual method where you see the strange word, after which you have to say the Dutch word. Or you use the reverse method. choose you typing then you have to type the answer. And finally there is the option listen where you get to hear the strange words.

Conclusion

The extension looks good and works smoothly. We think the memory cards in particular are a smart find. That way you can expand your vocabulary in the foreign language every day.

If the machine translation makes a mistake on language, you can set a source and target language yourself.
