Watch Apple live stream on iPhone, iPad and iPod

If you have an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, Apple makes it as easy as possible to follow the video. As long as your device is running on iOS 10 or higher, you only have to go to the website of Apple to go. As a rule, the video starts a few minutes before 19:00 in the evening. At that time, a video player is available on Apple’s website. This will disappear automatically a few days after the event. Another option, of course, is to go to Apple’s YouTube channel or start the video at the top of the message and set a reminder.

Watch Apple live stream on Apple TV

Apple TV fourth (2015) and fifth generation (2017): If you have the fourth or fifth generation Apple TV (from 2015), you can follow the event closely via the Apple TV app. You can download this for free from the tvOS App Store on your Apple TV. This is also a nice app if there is no event planned, because you can look back all kinds of old keynotes in the archive. Great for when you want to relive old presentations or see the other offerings from Apple’s TV app.

Apple TV 3 and Apple TV 2: If you have an older Apple TV, you cannot download the Apple Special Event app. Fortunately, Apple packs a live stream into a dedicated channel on the day of the event. This will automatically appear at the top of the screen, so that you only have to tap it on the evening itself.

Watch Apple live stream on macOS and Windows

Mac: As long as you are running at least OS X 10.11 with Safari version 6.0.5, it is as easy as on iOS to follow an Apple event. All you have to do is go to Apple’s website on the right night, where you will automatically see a video player appear. Or you open the Apple YouTube channel from the link above in this post.

Windows: Apple is also giving Windows owners the chance to follow the keynote. The live stream can be viewed with the Chrome and Firefox browser, which makes it easy to follow all the revelations live regardless of the version of Windows (7, 8 or older) you are using. If you have a PC with Windows 10, you must use the Microsoft Edge, Chrome or Firefox browser. If you have a different browser, fortunately you can now also go to Apple’s YouTube channel and watch the stream from that place.

Another option is the video player VLC, which is free too to install. All you need afterwards is a special url, which is always only available on the evening of the event. You will find the link on this page.
