Ultra Retina XDR display

Just like the iPad Pro, the MacBook Pro may be equipped with an Ultra Retina XDR display. This display is the most advanced in the world and uses tandem OLED technology. This combines the light from two OLED panels, resulting in a fantastically clear image.

For example, the new iPad Pro can display SDR and HDR content with a full-screen brightness of up to 1000 nits, and HDR content with a peak brightness of 1600 nits. Tandem OLED technology provides extreme control over the color and brightness of each pixel, making the image incredibly accurate.

MicroLED screen

For the first time, you can equip the iPad Pro’s display with nano-textured glass. This glass is etched on a nanometer scale and has a frosted effect. In this way, the contrast and image quality are maintained, while at the same time the ambient light is scattered so that you are less bothered by reflection. It is expected that the MacBook Pro can also be equipped with a nano-textured screen.
