macOS Sequoia: Instantly access your passwords from your Mac’s menu bar

Since macOS Sequoia you can use the new Passwords application for Mac. This contains your iCloud keychain, but also the login details for networks, log in with Apple and family passwords. If you want quick access to Passwords, you can add a shortcut to the menu bar.

You can then consult and use the contents of the Passwords app directly from the menu bar. Useful when logging into websites or creating a new password.

  • Open the Passwords app on your Mac
  • Unlock the app
  • Click on ‘Passwords’ in the menu bar
