
Max Verstappen has entered into a multi-year partnership with Viaplay as Viaplay ambassador. What does this mean for you as a viewer?
In each country where Viaplay owns exclusive Formula 1 rights, Verstappen will be Viaplay’s ambassador. The purpose of this is to create exclusive content for Viaplay subscribers. This content will consist of a glimpse into the life of the Formula 1 world champion. As a subscriber you can see how Verstappen handles the pressure in and outside the paddock and you can enjoy the battle on the F1 circuits.
From March, every Formula 1 race, including the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort, can be seen on Viaplay, where you can follow Max Verstappen in his journey to defend his world title. In addition to the previously announced international experts David Coulthard, Mika Häkkinen and Tom Kristensen, Max’s father, Jos Verstappen, will also be seen regularly in the paddock. With 106 Grand Prix starts to his name, Jos Verstappen will support his son Max throughout the season.
Viaplay in the Netherlands
Viaplay will be launched in the Netherlands on March 1, 2022. Nordic Entertainment’s streaming service offers a unique range of premium live sports, Viaplay Originals, international movies and series and content for children. In addition to Formula 1, the service will be the Dutch home of Bundesliga, PDC darts and more, with Premier League starting in August. A subscription, of 13.99 euros per month, can be taken out directly with Viaplay or through various partners, including VodafoneZiggo and KPN.
