In addition, the software updates mainly contain a lot of small changes that benefit daily use. This includes: Adaptive Power Mode for iPhone battery, clipboard history for Mac and the updated control panel for Apple Watch. Below you will find the new part of even more minor changes in iOS 26 and other software version 26.
Adjust clock on login screen
Since macOS Tahoe it is possible to personalize the clock on the login screen to your own wishes. This means that users can determine how the time is displayed, for example by choosing from different styles and formats. This not only makes the login screen more functional, but also visually appealing and personalized, contributing to a more customized experience from the very first moment you boot up your Mac.
You can adjust the clock via  ▸ System settings ▸ Wallpaper ▸ Clock display. Choose where the clock should be visible, which style you want to use and the size (weight).

Panorama function improved
In iOS 26, the panorama function has been significantly improved. Taking panoramic photos is now faster and with less motion blur when you move your iPhone. As a result, wide landscapes and group photos are captured sharper and in higher quality than before. This update provides a smoother and more professional experience when shooting panoramas.
Copy message contents
Finally it is possible to copy part of a message on an iPhone or iPad. Previously, it was only possible to copy the entire message and you had to manually select the desired text elsewhere. iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 include an additional option to copy text in a message.
Place your finger on a speech bubble and choose ‘Select‘. Then highlight the text you want to copy and paste it elsewhere. This is especially useful when you want a certain part of a message, such as a phone number, address, etc. In this article we explain how to copy and paste on an iPhone or iPad.

Shake to find mouse
In iPadOS, there is a feature called ‘Shake to Find Mouse’ that allows you to temporarily make the cursor larger. Apple has automatically enabled this feature and ensures that you can quickly find the mouse pointer. Moving quickly back and forth with a docked mouse or trackpad will cause the cursor to wiggle and enlarge. This helps make finding the cursor easier, especially on larger screens or with a lot of distractions.
