Popular streaming service Netflix is working on a new service, called N-Plus. With N-Plus, the company wants to offer in-depth content, such as interviews and behind-the-scenes content. With N-Plus, Netflix seems to be taking another step from streaming service to an all-round media company.
Netflix N-Plus gives users a look behind the scenes
Netflix recently sent out a survey asking about Netflix N-Plus, a future service the company is currently working on. With N-Plus, the viewer gains access to an “online environment where you can learn more about Netlfix shows you enjoy watching and everything related to it.” The company sent out the survey to find out whether users actually need a platform like N-Plus.
The survey shows, among other things, that you must have a Netflix subscription to access the future online environment. In addition to video content, playlists with film music can also be found on the platform. Netflix also wants to give fans of series influence on new seasons of series that are still in development.
In addition to completely new content, the streaming service can also place existing content on N-Plus. Previously, Netflix posted such content on social media and on YouTube. The company seems to want to distinguish itself better from the competition by means of N-Plus. It is not yet known whether the service will actually be implemented and whether it will cost extra money.
Disney + is also working on more depth
Netflix is not the only streaming service that wants to offer users exclusive content from series and films. Disney +, for example, gives Marvel and StarWars fans the option to turn on a playlist, which makes the movies play in chronological order. Disney + also offers behind-the-scenes content for select movies and series, previously only available on DVDs.
Other streaming services, such as Apple TV + and Amazon Prime Video, are lagging behind. However, Apple TV + is rated by users as the highest compared to all other streaming services.

Netflix is an American streaming service that has been available in the Netherlands since 2013. The company offers a subscription for streaming video on demand over the internet, with the option of pausing and fast forwarding and rewinding. The Netflix offer consists of films and TV series. The offer is constantly being supplemented with new titles and in every country Netflix has different deals and therefore a different offer.
