If you are considering a subscription to Netflix, you will of course want to know what the prices are. This is what you pay for the different Netflix subscriptions.
Netflix: these are the prices
Netflix currently offers three different subscriptions in the Netherlands, namely Basic, Standard and Premium. We put the subscriptions including prices listed for you.
Netflix Basic
This subscription costs 8.99 euros per month and is currently the cheapest option. There are countries where you can still get a subscription including advertising for a bit cheaper. Netflix does not yet offer this option in the Netherlands, but it may replace Netflix Basic in the future. There is also currently no option to watch Netflix for free.
You stream at Netflix Basic in a resolution of 720p (HD Ready). You can watch on a maximum of one device at a time and offline watching is only possible on one device. In addition, spatial audio is not supported.
Netflix Standard
Netflix Standard is the most popular choice. With an amount of 13.99 euros per month, this Netflix subscription is slightly above the average prices of streaming services. Streaming is possible with Netflix Standard in HD resolution (1080p), which is reason enough for most people to choose this.
In addition, with Netflix Standard you can stream on up to two devices at the same time and you can also download content to two different devices to watch later. Ideal if you use a subscription with two people. But here too you have to do without spatial audio.
Netflix Premium
This Netflix subscription logically has the most to offer, but also significantly exceeds the average prices of streaming services. You pay monthly 18.99 euros. That’s a pretty hefty sum, but you do get a resolution of 2160p (Ultra HD) in return.
With Netflix Premium, you can also stream on four devices at once and download content on up to six devices for offline viewing. For a family with children, this is a handy option. It is also the only subscription that supports spatial audio.
It is now also possible to add an extra member to your subscription. For an amount of 3.99 euros For each additional month you can share your account with someone who does not live with you.
Netflix: subscription prices in Belgium
The prices for Netflix in Belgium are slightly higher than in the Netherlands. Netflix Basic costs € 100 there 9.99 eurosNetflix Standard 14.99 euros and Netflix Premium no less than 19.99 eurosThis means that every subscription there is one euro more expensive than in the Netherlands.
