Can a network cable be longer than 25 meters? That is what I have to bridge.

If you use a network cable of CAT6 quality, you can easily bridge 25 meters. In fact, you can bridge a length of 100 meters. You will probably have to buy that CAT6 network cable ‘on a roll’. And then of course also have to assemble the RJ45 plugs yourself. If you keep the colors neatly in order, then mounting those RJ45 plugs is not really difficult. You do need a special tool for it (image 1). That piece of equipment is for sale left and right on the internet. Make sure that the RJ45 colors mentioned are on it!

This is a so-called crimping tool. Also with the RJ45 colors in a handy list.
