New on Netflix: March 2018
Every month Netflix makes a slew of new series and films available. On iPhoned we look ahead to the new offer and give the best tips. These are often new series and films, but also old favorites that are newly released on Netflix come along. All you have to do is put them on your list, or hit play when the time comes. Our New to Netflix guide keeps you up to date with the must-see series and movies every month.
1. Annihilation
Netflix isn’t great at making movies just yet. For example, look at Cloverfield: Paradox and Mute last month. Annihilation will be released in March and we are getting excited about it. The film can already be seen in the cinema in the United States and is receiving rave reviews there. In the film, a biologist (Natalie Portman) goes on a mission to Area X, a mutated landscape full of strange flora and fauna. The film is directed by Alex Garland who previously made the excellent Ex Machina. Oscar Isaac, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Tessa Thompson also star.

2. Jessica Jones
Of the several superhero seasons that have hit Netflix in recent times, Jessica Jones’s was one of the best. In the series you follow a detective with a drinking problem, who also has super powers. In the first season, she was mainly concerned with an insane supervillain. This season you as a viewer dive more into her past and Jessica tries to use her powers to do good. How long can she last?

3. Love
Love is back for a third season. For the past two seasons, we have fallen in love with the different characters, each with their own flaws. In this third season, we find Gus and Mickey in a real relationship. How will it go?

4. Terrace House: Opening New Doors
Actually, we still know very little about this new series from Terrace House. However, we enjoyed predecessors Boys & Girls in the City and Aloha State so much, that this will undoubtedly be enjoyed again. The idea is simple: a group of Japanese youth is put in a house. There they live together, but they also just have their own work. It is a reality show without people losing weight or someone winning, but it is always nice to watch. Not least because of the fantastic commentators. Unfortunately, only the Japanese trailer is available.

5. Nailed It
All of Holland Bakt reaches countless viewers in the Netherlands and who knows, Nailed It will get the same success. In this series it is up to bad home bakers to recreate spectacular baking. The game looks a lot more American than the quiet Omroep Max program, with fast edits and a lot of screaming. Still, it is bound to be very entertaining.
