What are you going to watch on Netflix next month? We choose a few series for you. This will be new on Netflix in May.
New on Netflix: May 2018
Every month Netflix makes a slew of new series and films available. Every month we look ahead at the new offer on iPhoned and pick the best tips for you. These are often new series and films, but also old favorites that are newly released on Netflix come along. All you have to do is add the series and movies to your list, or press play when the time comes. Our New to Netflix guide keeps you up to date with the must-see series and movies every month.
1. The Rain
How safe are you if a virus is spread through the rain? In this first Danish Netflix original, you follow two young people who come out of hiding six years after the start of this virus, to see that the world has changed completely. They soon join other survivors and travel through a desolate Scandinavia in search of life. The series is made by people who were behind Borgen, Rita and Dicet. If the quality is just as good for all those series, we are looking forward to it.
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (season 4)
Kimmy Schmidt returns for another season of crazy adventures. The fantastic series has already brought us so many moments of genius that we can’t wait to see how this fourth season will surprise us. The most important question is of course: what is Tidus going to sing again? Have you not seen the previous seasons? Then this is the chance to catch up before the fourth season is available at the end of the month.
Cargo
Netflix doesn’t have good grades when it comes to movies, but we still keep hopes. As for the new movie Cargo, starring Martin Freeman. This father tries to survive among the zombies in Australia to give his child a future. In any case, the trailer looks very exciting.
Busted! I Know Who Your Are
This series looks so bizarre that it must be special. Some amateur detectives need a whodunit dissolve in a wacky show, where scenes are played by famous Korean actors and comedians. Slowly an overarching story must emerge and tensions mount until the truth emerges.
Safe
Do you miss Dexter? Actor Michael C. Hall is back on your television. After a guest role in Season 2 of The Crown, he is now starring in a new Netflix original. This series follows a widower whose oldest daughter suddenly disappears. Does he know the people around him? If you watch the trailer, it takes some getting used to that the actor suddenly puts on a British accent. Hopefully we will soon forget that while watching.
